There is not much new in the garden today. It was cool last night and some don't want to open properly. Here is what caught my eye.

Mema's Simone looks pretty today. It is a small flowered tet that even has some sculpting. It is registered at 4.5 inches but it's never that big in my garden.

Queen of the seedling bed today is (Pumpkin Prince X Bodacious Bite) X (Fox Point X Randal the Runner). I wish it had a red edge but with saturated bright red color in the eye with a yellow, not orangish petal color, I will excuse the lack of edge. It's a big flower too. This is its maiden bloom.

If this had had a good petal on the bottom, it might have been queen. It has that power to draw your eye to it from across the garden. It's large and even has some metallic gold edge and some small teeth. I think this one has a lot of potential. It is Love All Serve All x Tet. Rose F. Kennedy.

This is a small tet. It is Merry Moppet X (Little Red Bantam X Pinewood Light in the Darkness). This is the first flower for it too. It has some broken color areas (on the bottom and left petal). We will have to watch this one to see if it does it again. Striped and stippled daylilies have become quite popular.
