hello, we recently replaced the original hardwood floors in our new home and we wanted to keep a price of the original home. We decided to take the old flooring (red oak) and make an accent wall where the stairs are. We have assembled it and sanded it but now are torn on how to finish it. Originally we were going to cokor wash it with a dark navy blue but now I am considering just white washing it or just sealing it with a clear coat. Does anyone have an techniques or recommendations on how to finish it.Thanks
