    The ground cover in between these joints is a 4” wide strip of sod, which was planted in 6” of loam and set on a 12” compacted dense pack base.

    This yard is gorgeous. Are the pavers in the grass on a concrete base or just in dirt? How thick are they? Also is the coping over the poor cover vault sturdy enough for people to stand or sit on? We are working on a pool project with the same basic layout and are trying to decide on the best option for covering the spa.
