Wonderful Edges on MHBTD. I have never had them that wide. Core Values is a pretty one. SC Frances Busby is such a beautiful plant with wonderful blooms and the color of Primal Scream is always a good one. Crazy Iven always has lovely blooms and your new one, Royal Invitation, is relaly a pretty one. Nice post, Debra.

I'm Gonna Love You Through It

Cobalt Rings from last night. I took the photo because I rarely see patterns like this on it.

Rose Sensation has performed well in both hot and cool temps. It has an instant rebloom scape coming.

Here are a couple of seedlings that bloomed recently:

DTS x Back Scratcher #3 seedling - This first bloomed last year. It will be my best budded seedling this year. It will also be the Bud King of my garden, beating out any registered cultivar with 40 buds on its best scape. The other scape has 23 buds. The photo does not fully capture the color. It's a polychrome with lemon, cream and pink in it. It also has a green overlay in the mornings. When things are hotter, it shows lots of tendrils on the edge. Six-inch bloom on 28-inch scapes.

Destined to See X Back Scratcher seedling #2 - This is the one I wish had the height and the buds. But plant habit has not improved much since last year. It has multiplied faster than its two siblings and has six fans now. I think it gets too shaded by some of the larger seedlings next to it. Nine buds per 20-inch scape.

Destined to See x Back Scratcher seedling #1 - This one has improved in height and bud count since last year., with a seven-inch bloom on 24-inch scapes and 17 buds on the best scape.

Here's a look at the Aliquippa x Winter's Angel in the shade. The edge has both angel wings and a sawtooth edge. It also has instant rebloom coming.l

I might as well show my other big girl pink. I'm liking the look of when the sepals roll back. It also has pinching in the throat sometimes.

I like the color and edge on Royal Invitation. SC Night Vision also has wonderful color. Core Values-what a look! The seedlings continue to look good. Of course Dancing Flamingo seedling continues to be my fav but you know how I love the yellows so I do indeed like the yellow seedling!

Where to start? So many interesting daylilies in your post. I definitely like Royal Invitation and I'm Gonna Love You Through It. Your seedlings are excellent, especially the pink ones.

The last seedling is beautiful and I like those that "roll back". Great color blend too.

kay - I was really surprised about those wide edges on My Heart Belongs to Daddy. I've seen so many photos on NGA where it didn't have an edge at all. It's quite dramatic when it looks this way!

Kate - Yellows are not my favorite, but I'm partial to any seedling that has so many buds.

Hoosier Nancy - Thanks for your comments on the seedlings. Royal Invitation is a great one, but I've only found one parent that will work to set seed on it. It's finnicky. The pollen doesn't seem too potent either.

Maryl - I like your favorites list! Those three are probably my favorites too.

Julia - Thanks for you comment about the last seedling. The petals did not start rolling back until the third and fourth blooms. I really like that look.

Debra, such wonderful seedlings again. You have a knack for the crosses you choose. I can’t decided among the yellow seedling or the last three pink ones which I like the best. Then again I would be happy with the destined to see seedling too. Personally, the scape height on these seedlings would be fine with me, I pretty sure you are hoping for taller scapes.
