Just a few on Thursday

We have been pretty busy today trying to get the last seedlings in the ground before Bob has to go back to work. He's been working from home and his duties have been somewhat light so he has had some extra time for the garden. That all ends on Monday.

Light Forbes had its first flower open today.

Small World Fire in the Hole started blooming today.

Buddy's Betsy was particularly lovely today.

This is the first flower open on Hobbits Gone Awry. I don't think I like it. The color is muddy to me.

The next two are the Co-Queens today. Both have Tet. Rose as a pollen parent. We crossed Tet. Rose onto rounder flowers and have even picked up an edge in this one. The pod parent of this one is Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding.

The pod parent of this one is Patricia Ann's Calliopsis.

The first three are all bright beauties, and the first seedling queen with its color and edge is gorgeous!

Got a color theme going on those first three! They are so bright-I like it! I love the color you have on both those seedlings and yes they both deserved to be queen!

I like your first seedling with edge, a nice surprise. Buddy’s Betsy is another winner today, Bob picked a good one there.

Sherry, believe it or not, Bob didn't pick Buddy's Betsy. It was sent to us (twice, not once) as a bonus. Daylilies like this are why I love bonus plants.

I like the Queens too! I like the name of the Hobbit one, and I like the spidery form, but I agree with you, it looks a little muddy. Wonder if it may improve.
