are you finding it dark?

I would be adding more can lights, the lighter walls will help.

You dont have a lot of room for more "task'' lighting so best to round out the over head.

Thanks, RL! My challenge is that I need about 6500 lumens and each large can is only 900 each so that would be too many cans I think? I would love a beautiful, flush mounted central fixture that puts out tons of light

How did you figure how much lumen you need for square ft?

You can have that! find one you like and max out the lumens... just remember light behind you needs to be balanced with the light in front of you...

@live_wire_oak thanks but what is “lamped incorrectly”? I see what you mean about the tower but too late for that now....how many additional recessed lights would be optimal and if I need additional 6500 lumens? 6 more lights? That sounds like a lotta circles on the ceiling no?

I just googled it....bathrooms typically need 70 to 80 times the square footage of bathroom in lumens. Other rooms like bedrooms much much lower.
