Felt pads. They come with sticky backs. By the way, it is probably the finish on your flooring that is being abraded, not the wood itself.

You can also get the felt pads in sheets so you can cut pieces to fit the bar stool legs. I think that we got ours at a big box hardware store.

We found felt pads that nail into the bottom of the leg. Much better than the sticky ones that come off constantly!

When we got our basement stools, we immediately pried off those plastic feet and put on felt pads.

We also have gold stools like yours :).

Ahhh...that's why man created 'hot glue guns'. The 'plastic feet' are actually transport feet. They are supposed to come off once the furniture is delivered. Yep. They are temporary.

The felt pads can be glued to the bottom of these stools. It's pretty cool.

@amar_a how did you remove all those scratches from your floor? btw, nice floor finish, do you remember what color it was?

@CPBR fortunately, the scratches were on surface so they’ve now disappeared. The floor color is Montfort

@amar_a That is an oil finish correct? How often do you have to re-oil it?

@CPBR yes, it has an UV oil finish. It’s a beautiful floor that comes with higher maintenance. Be sure not to clean with microfiber. And I mop with Woca soap diluted with water.
