Want to redo window treatments. The windows on the fireplace wall have clerestory windows above the double-hung windows. They are recessed 4". They looked awkward so I placed tall curtain panels to hide them. I am now considering off-white panels with a subtle tan stripe.

The door/window wall also has clerestory windows.

They are flush with the wall. Time for the valance to go. The brown blinds are relatively new, so I hope to keep them.

The question is whether to now expose the clerestory window on both walls. Should I put up new curtains on the fireplace wall below the clerestory windows? What should I do about the clerestory windows above the door/window wall? I'm uncertain if the exposed clerestory windows will look good. The room has a 9' floor to ceiling measurement. Thanks for any suggestions.
