Catching up on Friday

I am behind posting because my computer crashed and I had to use Bob's laptop. It just slowed me down because I had to deal with the pictures in a different way. So here's what's been blooming yesterday and today.

Roi de Navare is finally looking like it should. It's been a little slow to get established. It is from Canadian hybridizer Daniel Matton. It is registered as a late, but obviously, it's not late in our garden.

Midnight Potions is new to the garden. I worry about its hardiness, but it did make it through last winter (which was a mild one). I love the teeth with the picotee purple edge on the sepals.

My Lips are Sealed bloomed for the first time.

Riot Act is a good grower, but it's not a very big flower.

I was afraid we were going to lose Eggpalnt Luminosity. It spent all last season as one puny fan, but it's looking better this year.

Green Arrow is not the type we usually grow, but I think it is rather neat.

Now or Never does pretty well for a southern bred daylily. It's the only one in the garden with this coloring.

Home of the Free was having a good hair today. Sometimes it is splotchy and doesn't open well, but when it's good, it's beautiful.

Madeline Nettles Eyes is a true miniature tetraploid. Those are pretty rare.

We have the whole royal court today. I am not sure I can pick a queen today.

I like the looks of the teeth and the edge on Weasel Teeth X Red Eyed Queen. It almost looks like it's plaid.

I like the color and the shape of the eye on Snidely Whiplash X (Sonoran Desert Rose X Crimson Stories).

I love your Snidley seedling, I agree that eye and edge are really nice! Now or Never is such a unique color combo. Green Arrow is growing on me, I like the green throat. Hope your computer ails are fixed soon.

Some real pretties here-starting with those seedlings! The Snidely seedling has great color. Which is why I like Eggplant Luminosity. Midnight Potions has the colors I like, as well.

Midnight Potions is my favorite of the registered ones. When I saw Eggplant Luminosity, I thought it was Emmerich's Storm Shelter. If Eggplant is tender, you might want to try Storm Shelter instead. I like both of the seedlings. The first one has such an interesting edge.. and the second on has such pretty colors.

The last seedling is beautiful with the contrast of the petals, eye and throat.

I always seem to really like the Snidely Whiplash seedlings and this is no exception. I like Green Arrow too since that is my kind of bloom. Eggpalnt Luminosityis a pretty one, and I like Midnight Potions. Very pretty batch today.
