There is still a lot of color in the garden although not en masse when peak is in force.

Brutus-an oldie that blooms late-as in now-huge clump with lots of blooms

Creature of the Night-better blooms than the last one

August Wedding-FFE-I just always like the looks of this one

Laura Harwood-just gorgeous in full bloom

Lake Champagne-last flower open-rarely has a good clean bloom for me

Lavender Stardust-late evening colors

Pink Jeans-again-because I love this color

Yazoo Elsie Hinton with interloper-a real oldie-huge monster blooms

Green Eyes Wink-not a big fan of small ones but saw this in full bloom in a garden years ago and bought it. Blooms late

You really have many pretty ones in this batch. Yazoo Elsie Hinton has such a wonderful shape. In the picture it looks like she's trumpet shaped with soft ruffles all along the edge. Wonderful shot of her..........Lavender Stardust is another sweet one. Everyone that grows it likes it. I may need to add it one day..........Creature of the Night still intriques me. Our wind just beat the heck out of my daylilies yesterday that had tall reedy stems. I need to follow my heart on UF's I guess.........Maryl

Beautiful flowers! My favorite today is Creature of the Night, so distinct. Laura Harwood clump is indeed gorgeous. I really like the pairing of yellow Yazoo Elsie Hilton with the purple. Debra's seedling is very pretty. Oh too bad about the shortness of Margo Reed Indeed as it is beautiful (I love white dls)

Brutus and Laura Harwood clumps are spectacular! I love Creature of the Night when it gets that dark! My seedling looks very happy in your garden. You really have a lot blooming late. Margo Reed Indeed always blooms short for me too - but not quite that short.

Brutus and Laura Harwood are both showing out splendidly today! Yazoo Elsie Hinton looks large and is lovely. Lavender Stardust is a pretty thing and Night Creature may grow on me. Nice post, Kate.

Kate, my observations are the same as I read above. Creature of the Night is my favorite, so deep and mysterious looking.

Creature of the Night looks so very dark. I like August Wedding here too, it always blooms well, reblooms and opens well. I wish it were taller. I am so surprised that you and Debra both have short blooms on Margo! I need to measure, I think it is taller than registered here, and always has been. It grows in a bit of shade, maybe it has to reach for the sun? Gets enough sun it has plenty of buds though, but you can see it does lean away from the tree. Love Boy Crazy, and your Laura looks wonderful too.
