Red Oak Browning Leaves

We just planted a red oak a couple of months ago and have noticed these brown spots all over the leaves except for the veins staying green. Had noticed Caterpillars not long after we planted, as seen by the holes in the leaves. From what I read online could possibly be Anthracnose (however wasnt and hasn't been overly wet here in Southwestern Ontario). Any help would be appreciated!
