Guest bathroom - lights, tile, vanity...

last modified: 6 years ago

Hi,

We are Finally starting on the guest bathroom for our renovation. It is a dark windowless room. The door to the bathroom is at the end of the hallway and the vanity and mirror are clearly seen as you walk down the hall. The only starting point I have is a mirror that I found at a clearance sale; it works well in the space so I'd like to use it. Our style is transitional leaning traditional. Current thought is white subway in the tub area with some kind of accent tile, and maybe repeat the accent behind the mirror. Haven't found anything yet though.

Ideas for lights? The only lights in the room currently are the vanity ones and a single 6" can centered above the tub. DH thinks we should add another can on either side, to light it up more. Would it look strange to add two smaller can lights ( like 3") on either side of the center one? Or better to add the two lights and remove the center can? Any ideas for vanity lights?

Thanks in advance!

Jean
