While most of the article is about mechanical control and solarization, it does mention some chemistry. Ortho Weed-B-Gon Chickweed, Clover and Oxalis Killer for Lawns or Weed-B-Gon Max will work.

Those products will work once. Then later, the prolific seeds from this generation will come to life requiring another spraying. Keep that in mind. This is not a one-and-done deal.

That's life, though. And dandelions. Ask me about this season's crop of Desert Rose, although that's intentional.

desert rose as in adenium obesum? i'll keep working the mechanical removal where practical & chemical where it's not. this stuff is as bad as nut sedge & i'm also battling that.

Yep. They're bustin' out all over right now. Fortunately, most of the people I give them to can't seem to keep them alive. I can't seem to kill them.

In and out for me here in Pennsylvania; we fall below freezing in October and stay there through late April. I restrict myself to six. But daughters do get planted (there are currently...counting...29 in the heater) and given away. Of those, 3 have sprouted so far, but it's very early yet and I jumped the gun a little in terms of planting them.

Of the succulents, they're one of the only ones I can keep alive. I tend to overwater everything else. Well, except Thanksgiving and Christmas cactus. Those I can handle, so I get several seasons of indoor blossoms!

i found a partially hose mounted spray bottle of weed stop. was left by the previous owner.

i hit some areas with it & it worked. so i'll buy some & have at it. in the areas near my hives & where i have a lot of white clover & continue with mechanical removal.
