We first ran two individual low voltage wires to each shelf location from an outlet below (under the cabinet) so that you don’t see where the wires come through the drywall. We then routed out a groove in the wood approx 3/4” wide by 1/4” deep so that it would accept an LED strip light. The design is as such so that you can put the bottles over the light groove so it can light up the bottles from below. Hope this helps!
