Adding to a drip system

last modified: 6 years ago

I have timers connected to two different hose bibbs that water window boxes using 1/2 inch distribution tubing and 1/4 inch drip tubing. I plan to add a tee with additional 1/2 inch tubing and drip tubing to one of the setups to water two more planters on one side of the house. Do I need to run that side for a longer time to compensate for the additional water needed or will the volume of water and pressure in the lines supply enough that the 30 minute run times I’m currently using still supply the window boxes with an equal amount of water? Seems like I should know the answer to this but I’m stumped.

Thanks.
