So much eye candy!! The first ones are my favorite, of course. And Purple Passion's Promise is one that's been on my wish list - it sounds like you would recommend it. That seedling is so lovely... I think I remember it from last year, the edge is very unique and I love the colors.

Wonderful! The first 4 and There's a Place are my favorites. Violet Victory is nice too.

I'll bet you are so surprised that I like these and had no idea I'd respond to this post! LOL.

Now this is a post of wonderful beauties! There’s A Place-what color; Victorian Garden-what yellow; Kerelia seedling-what edges! Love the Sam Abell clump-actually have lily envy on this one as mine (too much shade) did not bloom this year. :( And as always, The Color of Wonderful lives up to its name.

Laura - I definitely would recommend Purple Passion's Promise. The flower size is smaller than I prefer (5 inches), but everything else about it is top-notch. It's an excellent multiplier. It has instant rebloom (the double scaping), great branching and bud count, height, and the bloom color holds in the hot sun. It's also fertile.

The first seedling in the first post did bloom last year. The edge and the eye are very nice.

Kate - I'm glad you like the Karela seedling. It does have wonderful edges. The color on There's A Place really has been amazing this week. I knew you and Maryl would like V.G. Emerald Breeze. I keep trying to get a clump shot, but none of the flowers ever face the same way.

So many beauties to look at again. I’m drawn to Jean Deavers Dream and your Karelia seedling, definitely my favorites. I remember you posting your purple UF seedling, love that deep color. It looks like it holds its color in the sun, it’s a winner in my book!

Sherry - Yes, the black purple UF holds its color on 94-degree days. I've really enjoyed it this season. I'm hoping it will rebloom.

Look at all those delightful ruffles on VG Garden Breeze. I love it. Chilled Orange Sorbet is another one I like quite a bit. Yellows and oranges get my motor going alright......You really captured the colors so well on Purple's Passion Promise. 3 tiers of color all look superb.....I hope Mary's Baby gains height for you. She's just about right for me. Against my better judgement I've added a few tall ones in the last few years and when our Oklahoma wind got through with them this week, I decided to go back to what works best in my climate. Oh and yes, when she gets that deep velvet purple color, it's sooo pretty........Maryl

Maryl - I knew you would like VG Emerald Breeze. It's a late morning opener, so it seldom gets photographed. And even after it opens, it takes an hour or two to ruffle up like that. I does hold its color all day. Mary's Baby is gorgeous. I just wish the blooms were a bit larger. And I hate that by the time it blooms, it's so hot it won't set seed. I bought two new purples from MIke Derrow this Spring that have Mary's Baby as parents. They are Star Lord and Steven Scott Derrow. They have larger blooms, and I'm hoping they help me inject some of the Mary's Baby genetics into my purple lines. So far, neither has scaped.

Debra, what can I say that I havent said before . You are blessed with a green thumb and lots of beauties ! Jeanne Deaver's Dream and There's a Place are my pics for this post but boy I sure wouldn't turn my back on any of the others. Great Post thanks for sharing.

Beautiful purples and non-purples :) Of the purples my favorite are the Jeanne Deaver's Dream which looks great in both versions, Violet Victory and Purple Passion's Promise (love when they double scape). Nice yellow that Victorian Garden Emerald Breeze. Beautiful clump of Sam Abell.

My favorite seedling is the Karelia seedling, very interesting look and nice edges!

Thanks for weighing in, Nat! It looks like Purple Passion's Promise is going to outperform your other purple favorites. The Karelia seedling is one that I hope will improve it's stats, once it has more room away from other seedlings.

That black purple seedling is a dream. And so is Jeanne Deaver's Dream. I have always really liked Purple Twizzler and it is in the middle of my Desktop background. Purple Passions Promise is another beautiful purple. so many beauties, and these are my picks right now.

Oh, what a feast for the eyes! Jeanne Deaver's Dream is a nice start, then your seedling, then Purple Passion's Promise sounds like a great plant as well as beautiful!
