Firstly i do like the colour profiles, building a general sense of accesibility to the space... form and funciton does appear to be wrking nicely there; Having said that - an organic sense of a funcitoning kitchen would suggest a link to a kitchen garden some of these elements need working on here - the before and afters are a no brainer, i do not know where the designer found the space, just a casual miracle i guess... howevers the lights do seem to be a little short over the island.. crowding sight lines maybe...

Great Kitchen- What is the color of the Island?

That's my question. I love the color of the island. It is a deep dark greyish bluish color. We are building a home and would love to know the color/brand.

This looks amazing. The use of the walls next to stove as storage ingenious.. but then to make them sliding and decorative... well that is the cherry on top... All the colors, woods, leather, marble work perfectly here. Amazing Job! I'd smile walking into this room! :)
