Podocarpus dying

There is this white stuff on my Podocarpus and a lot of them are dying. Any idea what’s wrong with them?

They are only about 4 months old.

where are you .. big city name..

how did you plant them

why are they so close to the fence.. what direction does the fence face ...

how do you water ...

it appears.. new growth is unaffected.. is this correct??

Kinda looks like hard-water stains. Could that be it? This looks like P. gracilior which should be fine in most of Florida.

Well i'm having the same issue as the botton picture ! I found trhat my drip line was constantly running and was fixed ! I'm not sure if the over-watering was the culprit but we had the back yard relandscaped after the instalation of the pool 6 mos ago ! No boring weavals thingies as i already checked just fertilized right after getting the sprinklers fixed !
