The vines are more than 3 years old, since we inherited them when we bought the house. 2 years ago they produced lots of fruit. Last year they didn't and it was explained to me that they produce every other year. This spring we cut them way back to let new growth come, which it did. We had to be out of our house for over 2 months. I was able to come to the house and prune the tops and water them as needed. We've had lots of rain since we came back home July 1. The vines have grown enormously and yet there is no fruit. Is there something I need to do or not do at this point to help them? The vines are strong, healthy looking albeit too many. I did give them fruit spikes in the early spring. I would really appreciate any advice from you grape growers. Thanks
