We need a measured plan with all walls, windows and doors marked, and adjacent rooms labeled. Do they need a table in the space? Are you using standard-sized appliances? Any ADA issues?

I apologize. I have no idea what I'm doing. :-) The kitchen including the breakfast nook is 16x9. The wall with the stove and refrigerator is approximately 7' and the wall with the sink is 5'. The area with cabinetry that sits out next to the sink is 4'. The doorway in the picture leads to the laundry room. No ADA issues. Is this helpful?

Is there something behind that bump out that means it needs to stay or is knocking it out an option?

The bump out is from the the way the house is designed from the outside so it would require permits and new brick and siding to attempt to change it.

Here are two quick plans, but since I don't know the exact measurements of the ap 7' wall, or exactly how much space is between the bump-in and the window on the left side of the plan, those cabinet widths might need adjusting.

In both plans, the plumbing stays as is. The plan on the left has the advantage of putting the range on an exterior wall, where it can be easily vented to the outside. The prep path is fridge to sink, then back to the counter beside the fridge, then to the range. There is no pantry, but the fridge could move up far enough for a side-loading pantry to the right, if needed. A side-loading cabinet would cut into the ample prep space, but would also ease the corner a bit.
