A few more beauties from this week

I don’t know about all of you, this season has a long way to go before I call it acceptable. Too many short scapes, fewer buds and splotchy blooms. I do have some troupers in the gardens, wish there were more.

FFE on Heavenly Curls, pretty bloom but two really short scapes.

Moroccan Sunrise Is having a great season well budded and perfect blooms. The color is not quite as saturated this season.

FFO on Brocaded Gown, she performs great every season.

Mysterious Eyes is having a good season, a saturated eye today, the strong sun fades the eye occasionally.

A nice second bloom on Forever Redeemed, first bloom was splotchy.

clump shot of Crystaline Entity, bud count isn’t great this season.

FFE on Zuzu’s Treasure, not perfect but promising. Three fans and three scapes, I’m happy! In memory of a great kitty.

I love that shot of Heavenly Curls - looks like it's taking a bow! Forever Redeemed looks really pretty, and I'm glad to see Zuzu's Treasure has started to bloom there. I hope subsequent blooms are even better!

You have lots of lovely flowers. A nice clump of Crystalline Entity. I always admire Forever Redeemed, and Zuzu's Treasure looks really nice to me. If I don't count new plants, or plants that got moved in the spring, I have not had too many short ones. Crazy Ivan was short, not the 1st time. Francois Verhart was VERY short, but i have had some that are taller than normal this year. On the whole, I have been happy with my daylilies, but 8 may have low expectations.

I always like you Crystalline Entity, especially when you post it in clump shots. So pretty. Moroccan Sunrise is also pretty-nice color. And I like the oldie Brocaded Gown. It is one that does not need a name label in my garden! Always recognize it.

Sweet Isabela is a pretty pink. I love it's huge watermark and edge.

I grew Brocade Gown many seasons ago and I really liked the texture to the petals. It was a pale lemony yellow here if I remember correctly.......... Sweet Isabella is very pretty and Zuzu's Treasure looks promising for you..............Maryl

I really like Heavenly curls, Brocaded Gown is awfully pretty. The eye on Mysterious /e/yes is such a lovely color and makes it stand out, and who doesn't like forever redeemed. Zuzu's Treasures is going to be a good one, and Missas Lucious is looking good.

I love Moroccan Sunrise. Lovely color combo ( so soft looking ) . I used to have Brocaded Gown and I loved it . It disappeared a couple of seasons ago . I haven't found it anywhere to replace it but as soon as I do it will be back here .

I agree, too many short and extremely short scapes. But others are unaffected.

Moroccan Sunrise is my favorite of these, though there are many nice ones!

Such pretty flowers! I of course love Forever Redeemed (lol posted it again today), and Sweet Isabela is so beautiful! What a lovely yellow Brocaded Gown is. I still remember I ordered it long time ago but got an orange instead..

Some scapes are shorter too, but not really bad. Bud count is low too, sometimes ridiculously so, some bud drop and lots of splotchiness but so much better than last year I can't complain :)
