Hello! I am looking for ideas on how to layout, finish, and decorate this unfinished walkout basement with approximate size of 65' x 38'.

Currently thinking of completing this in 2 phases:

Phase 1: fast turn around "industrial type" (such as painted rafter ceiling and finished concrete floor) for teen hangout; cosmetic fixes for sale in 5 years

Phase 2: more permanent finish if we decide to stay longer than 5 years. If so, this would mean the entire basement would be a fully separate (rentable) apartment.

Either way, would like to include:

-full bath (pipes already in floor)

-bedroom (at least 1)

For the longer term "Phase 2" option, would eventually move cabinets, etc from current kitchen to this basement and re-model/update the main floor kitchen (as in "drop it straight down" from floor above lol - current kitchen floorplan also shown). And if it is converted/finished into a rentable space,

one problem is the mechanicals are not consolidated - they are located in both back corners. Also I would like an accessible storage room. Where would you put it?

What would you do?? Any ideas, advice, layouts are welcome!
