I like the way it looks. What are you looking for? I love Incredible White with Extra White for trim in my upstairs...also, my decorator had us use half Agreeable Gray in bonus room. I would use a darker color on wainscoting with whatever you choose. The Incredible White has lovely undertones. Pure White to me would be too much. Let us know. All of these are SW in Cashmere line.

So, I would like to say I am in transitional mode so I don't know if I am ready for a not white color trim/wainscoting, lol but I am thinking about it! So the ceiling would be? if the wainscoting were gray and the walls white? And the stair trim? It is a small room, the pic is deceiving... so I would like to make it look larger.

The grey fad is essentially over; and since you are looking to brighten up the space, I suggest using a warm white. There are many warm whites to choose from. Benjamin Moore’s Ballet White is a nice, versatile color. You could try a sample. You could do the walls and trim in same color with different finishes. Or with the Ballet White, BM’s White Dove would be good on trim. I like BM’s Natura line.
