Some daylilies to show for Friday

I have lots of clumps that are on their last blooms, a few that have finished, but things still look good. Past peak, but a few lates that have not bloomed yet.
Capacity for Wonder is new this year, I really like it

Concrete Blonde is a huge bloom, so hard for me to get a good picture of yellows, light just reflects off
You have seen this one before,

Small World Dreams Come True

Wizard's Wish had 3 blooms open a few days ago, but it rained and I did not get a picture of them. Looks like it is going to be a good one,

Hush Little Baby is one of the few clumps that seem to get along enough to cluster for a picture

Oh my! What a wonderful photo of Hush Little Baby! So pretty!! Your seedling looks lush and healthy. And you know I like Capacity for Wonder.

It’s sad to hear your gardens are winding down, hurray for the lates! I like a Concrete Blonde and Hush Little Baby. Please post another photo of your seedling if you can, it looks like a great performer!

I think Wizard of Hope is actually Wizard's Wish that you got from me last fall. It looks great! Grubs got to mine in a raised bed, and it has short scapes and very tiny flowers right now. Hush Little Baby looks great in that group. Mine put up a couple of scapes in the shade this year, so I at least know where it is and can dig it out in the fall. Capacity for Wonder is a beautiful yellow. I know what you mean about yellows being hard to photograph. I have trouble with them too.

Correct Debra! I have an iris called Wizard of Hope. I have a hard time calling my 2 sons by their proper name. Called one by the dog's name once. I actually do better at getting my daylilies names right than my kids LOL!

I will get another picture of that seedling, Sherry, it does bloom well, and a late bloomer, so I like it for that. Is supposed to be a Rock Solid x El Desperado seeding, but a bit taller than either of those, and later blooming.

Hush Little Baby is a beauty. I had it twice, it bloomed pretty but was always short, even in the foliage. When it died for the 2nd time I was not going to try again. Debra told me I needed to try again, so glad I did. Maybe it just needed the right spot, this is twice the height and way more blooms than I had before.

Wizard of Hope is a nice bicolor, and Hush little Baby is a nice clump. Your concrete Blond is impressive.

Well, isn't that odd. I did go back to edit the name of Wizard of Hope to Wizard's Wish, oh Houzz, howmuch I love you-NOT. Have to get on my computer to restore pictures, so will take a bit
