I once had 400 Sea Grape seedlings growing in my kitchen. The seeds were old, and I thought....why not try planting all of them. Most of the old seeds, probably, will not germinate. My goal was the get at least maybe, a dozen plants. Well, most of the seeds germinated. The seedlings were all over the kitchen... and I had to eat ....in the living room.... with the dinner plate on my lap.

Sell your extra Adenium ....and go buy more seeds with the profits. :))))))))

Out of the 20 I planted I expected...well, maybe 3.

I got a grand total of 15. 14 have survived the basic seeding stage and are starting to produce leaves and the first caudal swelling. One last cell looks a bit mysterious and if I poke around, has a bit of green in there so I'm holding out hope for that 3-week laggard.

Realizing I can't keep 'em for long, I planted the last thirty. On Day 5, none have yet sprouted, so maybe I got a little lucky the first time. Still, I could potentially end up with another 10-20 more of these...

you can use a Dixie cup and put 4-5 plants per pot. when they get bigger, you can do one plant per pot. put slices in the bottoms of the cup for water to drain out.

I was using six-packs like I use to germinate most things.

Strangely, out of the first twenty, most germinated. Of the second set of thirty, they're not. Or at least they're much slower using the same starting conditions. So we'll see.

Still, I'm happy with the fourteen I got if that's all I got. I can actually handle 14 more plants. 20 more atop that...not so much.
