Young navel orange

I picked this up last year at a Brooklyn Home Hepot on a whim. It has bloomed each year and possibly over winter too under lights (I forget) but its too small to hold any yet. Unnamed variety tag just says Navel Orange.

Let us know how it does for you. Apparently navel plants have to get fairly big before they will hold any fruit. Even then, they may be alternate bearing. Not the most prolific in pots, but I'm just going by what a few have said.

I can say that it held its leaves well over winter without a lot of drop. This one had no pest issues either.

That’s a nice tree. I have found my orange trees to handle the indoor winter with lights better than many others.

Well then you will be able to get many different varieties of Citrus trees or seeds if you decide to continue as a hobbyist. Its also warmer climate zones 7B and 8a - more choices.
