RJG has been going great guns this year, though still in just a 3-gallon pot. In past years, he could barely open any blooms. Our climate is so changed now, the difference is quite amazing in the bloomability of certain roses, and also in their fragrance. It really makes a difference to hit 70F on a regular basis rather than hovering almost always around 59-62F! I find that now I can often smell the fragrance of various tea roses for the first time.

RJG is the pink one with the striking reflexed petals? Very lovely bouquet! LH just glows.

Now, I say that's a terrific bouquet!

Stephanie, yes, that's RJG, at bottom left. He has really won me over now that the blooms can open! Seems very healthy and vigorous in far from great conditions. Look at him, in this small pot!:

Thank you, Jeri! I am still amazed every day that I am able to have roses like these. And they keep getting better. Two from that bouquet I have because of YOU! And they are terrific roses--both GMG and FBPT are doing great. My little FBPT went into the ground only @ a month ago and she is pushing out buds and beautiful blooms and growing bigger each day. GMH, after I did some serious trimming maybe 6 weeks ago, looks terrific now with lots of new foliage and many buds and blooms. The flowers have been extra intense in color now, I'm assuming because of our hotter weather?
