Fernwood Mikado Propagation

Has anybody attempted to propagate a S. fernwood 'Mikado' from cuttings? I had a damaged leaf and just decided to stick it in the pot with my Philodendron selloum. Either it really really liked the soil composition or it roots pretty readily like a cylindrica. Either way, I might end up rooting more for gifts.

Not yet, I haven't mixed any soil for the new plant just yet. I'll be sure to post a picture or two once I get it going.

I had a piece break off of my large fernwood last summer, stuck it in the same pot, it rooted but it still hasn't produced a new plant.
