Well I knew yesterday that todays opening was not going to be good. Our temps dropped from the 90's into the low 80's and then into the high 70's yesterday. I noticed it had already started opening late yesterday and with our temperature drop to low 60's overnight with heavy dew this morning I wasn't expecting too much.

I think the color is more red than last year. The form is good except for the one sepal that is canoeing. Yes, it has splotchiness but with the amount of dew we had it is pretty good. I still have several scapes and buds to open and temps will be going back up again so hopefully better openings ahead.

There were many of my daylilies that were not EMO's this morning.
