We just purchased a salt-box style home. The current owners are using this room off the entrance as a catch-all room. We want to divide it in 2 with the front half being a mudroom and the back a walk-in pantry.

I would like open lockers for myself, husband, and son with open space for shoes to be kicked off (it's too much work for the boys to place their shoes on a shelf lol). I would also like a couple of closets for guest's shoes/ coats and our extra gear.

How do I set the room up so it doesn't feel cramped and overwhelming? Going for bright and airy but it still has to be practical.

Room is 11' X 7.3'
