Interview a selection of agents, just as you would pre-pandemic, only do it virtually using facetime, duo, zoom or whatever your preferences is.

Drive around your neighborhood and see what RE signs are near you. Which ones have SOLD or PENDING on them.

When I had to sell my Mom's house I did that and interviewed 3 and selected the one I liked best. One of my prime requirements was that I wanted lots of communication on showings. Was happy with my choice.

A realtor isn't going to help you declutter. I would do that first, then contact some agents for interviews.

When you're ready to interview, just invite them over, wear masks, stay 6' apart, and you do all the doorknob and light switch touching so they don't pick up or set down any covid cooties.

When we last sold, we interviewed 4 agents that were active in our area. (I think having an agent who works/lives in your community is important). All 4 agents were qualified. The one we choose was the one who answered this question to our liking.

”Why should we list with you?”

she answered; “because I will sell your house.”

And she did, we had a contract within 48 hours.
