What a pretty spot! I think you are on the right track with enhancing the columns....they need more heft.

I have no idea what a bakehouse is. I never like a hot tub a trek from the house , the brick is one nice feature of the house and IMO should not be painted , Is that all your driveway or just a street going to other houses? I am not sure the pillars need beefing up . I do not like the garden shed to be so prominant and this house does not and should not have corbels anywhere.I would like to see that brick brought around all across the porch in the way of a planting bed like the one in front of the chimney to make that porch much more of the entry

With the right color, the brick would look really nice. Right now the yellow is really fighting against it. No corbels, they don't fit your house style.

The porch peak needs "something", between the vertical siding and the skinny posts, it looks a little "off".

I would paint the house and the outbuilding a creamy white. Don't paint the brick. Don't paint the lovely metal roof. There isn't much of it, but it is at ground level and on the chimney. Paint the ceiling of the porch haint blue.

Norwood Architects gave really beautiful ideas that I can visualize and speak to all kinds of happiness. The only thing I might suggest differently is to paint everything except the brick and roof and see how you like it. You can always paint the brick later if it looks like a good idea. But as you can't reverse painted brick, taking it in steps seems prudent. And the idea of creamy white would be beautiful. Will you share a picture when it's done, please?
