Just curious, or are you planning something?

I would never want a screened porch on the front of the house, unless it was a very special type of neighborhood where sitting/entertaining in plain view of the road would make sense.

I just searched on Houzz photos and didn't see a single example. It seems most people do not want to sit/entertain on their front porch.

I also googled and just got photos of screened in back porches.

I have a very secluded lot so I am not worried about “sitting/entertaining in plain view” @chispa. The house is oriented so that either a front or back screened porch would work. I’m just looking for some examples folks might have built or considered.

across the whole front of the home? or just a screened portion?

This looks like a simple solution. Might be costly, though, to integrate the new hip roof into the house roof.

Here’s a different sample with a shed roof but I don’t like it as well. Plus you still have the roof-to-roof integration issue.

We need to see your house or all we do is guess. My first thought no way but no point of reference means who knows.

We are looking at this house as an ADU. Not sure we would do the stonework.

The house you posted already has a porch. Just have the builder screen it in. If the screens are black (both the frame and the actual screening material), they will be hardly noticeable.

If the porch is on the front of the home, you might want to consider installing retractable screens. They can be retracted when the bugs or bug-tolerance level permit.

Nothing ranch style about that home so a different thing completely. IMO the porch in the picture is not big enough to really have it screened and honestly on the front of a home usually not that great. Maybe provide a bit more info,
