Empty staircase wall

Hello everyone! Me and my wife bought a house last year and since then we kind of struggled with the interior design. Since our newborn came in to our life we had to put the interior decorations on hold until the baby grows a bit more, but I want to surprise my wife by decorating this staircase wall and I have no idea what would make it look not so empty, please help! any advice would be highly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi, I think a stairway wall is a good place to display family photos and since you have an expanding family, I'm sure you have a lot of photos! You can blend favorite art with the photos too.

I really like the last one, it looks so clean and the pictures match, I agree with the pictures my problem is how I display them so that the wall will look nice! At least now I have a starting point, thank you!

If you do the photo route, you'll need a lot of frames. I find a lot of them really inexpensively at thrift stores. Just pull out the old picture or photo and you've got matting and a nice frame.
