Is the Peruvian Travertine floor sealed?

I have travertine floors (came with the house). Your etch will only come out by someone refinishing the floors, and that contractor needs to be one who specializes in refinishing and restoration of marble. I.e. not any old contractor who also shampoos carpet, paints, scrubs siding, and other types of home refreshes, nope. It takes a lot of skill to do it correctly.

I waited a number of years until there were a number of etches on the floor (and there will be more, I assure you). I would not do this for one etch. It’s expensive.

I would never have chosen travertine floors myself, but I inherited them from the previous owner. At least mine aren’t the slightest bit pink the way many travertine floors are.

Sealer will not matter, the vinegar will trash the sealant most times. The finish is toast, etched as mentioned above.
