Some late blooming seedlings here.

One of our hybridizing goals is late blooming fancy tetraploids. We have several in the seedling beds that have just started blooming. It's hard to know if they are late bloomers until they are a couple of years old.


I think Cactus Blossom's color is rather dull, but this offspring is much brighter. This is Borderline Crazy X Cactus Blossom.


These next two are siblings from the cross of Cactus Blossom X Never Too Late.




This strong growing late daylily is Butter Pecan X Bass Gibson.


These next two are siblings. They are Ebony Jewel X Barracuda Bay. Both are much taller and better budded than either parent. These have been hanging around the garden for a while, but I think we have decided to introduce at least one of them.



This isn't a seedling, but it was so cute I had to share it. It is Toy Trumpets.
