Help with house facade!

We're remodeling a 1976 house and want your ideas for our facade.

We want to add the "porch" to the living room (see very noob design).

Really like your porch; sad to see it go ... unless, of course, you're adding the entire porch to the living room and then adding another porch in front of it and redoing the roof on both areas at the same time -- if, of course, that is not a problem because of weight bearing walls.

What is the third /last pic? Where is it in relation to the current porch? Is it on the right side of the porch and all those windows are a part of what room?

Is the two story building to the left any part of your home or is that the house next door?

Could you post more pics of the exterior of the home from different angles?

Could you create and post a floor plan of the living room and porch drawn, to scale, on graph paper, with doors and windows shown?

Bumping for the pros: architects and decorators and landscapers.

Thanks, I'll post the floor plan in a bit.

    Meanwhile:

    1. two story house is neighbor's house (which used to be the same design as mine)

    2. picture which explains better. The living room is the first part of windows and then the latter half is bedroom.

    3. hadn't thought of adding a new porch but is part of what I'm asking. How to do a face-lift to this design.

I think you should explain more. I don't understand your main objective or know what the parameters might be. It is helpful if you show the pictures with a straight-on alignment. Panoramas work best. (Take slightly overlapping pics while standing at same spot if you don't have pano feature on camera.)

Sorry for the confusion. I will try to take panorama tomorrow or day after.

What I'm asking is for ideas for the front of the house, if I should leave the Spanish look or go for a more modern style.

Also, how to add the front door, if I add a porch (or not).

In essence, what to do with this look?

Stitched together a panorama from a couple pictures I had.

    1. I want to add a small TV Room where the garage is,
    2. close the porch and integrate with living room.

My question is about the style.

So ... enclose the porch. It's going to immediately lose charm, just so you know. (Because suddenly the front is flat. If you could project outward with a small roof at the window area that would help overcome the flat wall.)

YOu might also include a shot from the street that includes the whole front so we can get bearings. I don't see a garage yet.

    Keep the Spanish style.

I like the curve of the arches on this house. You could add a structure in front of the area you are enclosing with this form which is a bit more contemporary than what you have now. Include the clay tiles on the roof. (I am not suggesting two stories, just one.)

Here is another good looking example. I like that they used curtains for sun control.
