Hi! I will look up the info and get back to you! Where are you located? This cabinet maker was in the LA area.

Oh no, I didn't research that far in depth in regards to location. Unfortunately I'm in the Midwest. You don't need to go out of your way then....
I do appreciate your timely response...

Hello. I ordered color samples of the paint- looks like a glaze was put over the paint colors- correct? The island surface- is that granite or quartz?

Have you ever done a bar top of an island in wood other than butcher block? I.E. painted a color with a sealer high gloss..

Hi Irgandy, glad you like this color! I agree that the color of the cabinets in the picture look different from the paint chip they were painted, though I didn't specify a glaze for the cabinetry. I think that the difference can be accounted for by a combination of the photographer's lighting, maybe some post-prodcution editing, and our computer screens! The island surface is quartz. No, I haven't ever done a wood top other than butcher block. A painted countertop would not hold up well to the daily tasks of a kitchen (spills, cleaners, appliances, the occasional knife). You really want something on your counter that will hold up to all a kitchen has to throw at it. If you want a fun color, I suggest you look at quartz counters - many manufacturers are offering beautiful bold colors! I have seen a gorgeous sky blue, and a bright granny smith apple green! Good luck!
