So I have no clue as to your style , the bedroom looks like a modern bed and a country bed cover It seems that the bathroom has a different colot tile floor than the bedroom so what is it you love about the tile? IMO the red tile drives every choice you make. in the bathroom.

Terracotta goes really well with blues, teals and greens-- think mediterranean or Mexican. It's classic.

For your vanity, if the cabinetry is in good shape and you don't hate it, you could just replace the counter top with something plain white. This can be done very inexpensively.

I think the current paint colour (or maybe the lighting) is too yellow to suit the tiles. Something closer to white would do better if you want to stick with neutrals.

Can you tell if your current vanity was installed on top of the floor tile? If not, you will need to be careful in selecting a new vanity if you don’t want to replace the floor tile.

Well = looks like the floor tile goes up to it. To your point need to be careful. I think there are a couple extra pieces if needed to do patching. or do a rile transition. Thoughts on colors? darker vanity? White Top? I have the same question for my bedroom. Need a new bed frame and not a fan of white.

Thank you for the comments. the bed that is currently in the room is not mine - I am purchasing the town home and this what was in there. I need a new bed frame and spread - etc - the works. so I am trying to figure out what furniture would look good - style and color - that will work with the current flooring. The bed and bath are slightly different, but I am not up for a new flooring project. Recently on my own and starting over. . I enjoy modern, but dont have the ability to change the whole house. So I need to go with the floor color palette as it stands. I like the terra cotta look of the floors and those types of things. My style is more rustic in this instance - so thoughts on what a vanity or bedroom with colors - pain decor etc - is helpful all of the way around. I love blues reds and teals - so perhaps a light wall color, (wither?) or light blue in bathroom? Love the idea of just changing the counter top of the vanity if possible.

I would go with white color. And get a longer curtain.

If you want to save money and just do a refresh you can paint the cabinets and they will change a lot of the look.
