The landscaping looks to be old and tired too. Don't forget to update that! Dark roof = higher HVAC bills. I don't think a tin roof is right either though. Can you post an aerial view so we can see how the pergola relates to the house's footprint?

Landscaping plan is underway.😊 I couldn’t find an aerial view but I snapped a photo from the side view. The pergola is roughly where the red arrow is pointing.

I can't see bringing that around to the front unless you want to replace your current portico with a matching pergola.
