We are finishing up our new kitchen reno, which we are very happy with overall. We have one dilemma. We have a tight space to add crown moulding (molding). There is only about 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" above the cabinet door, and we'd like to have most of the trim curve up onto the ceiling to look more substantial. We are thinking we may have to piece together two different moulding. Any suggestions? Is there an option of moulding that will allow for a tight wall/cabinet space while allowing to extend onto the ceiling for a much wider look? I'd like a more substantial look, and the only way is to wrap the moulding more on the ceiling, correct? This finishing touch, if not done well, can diminish an otherwise beautiful new kitchen.
