Building a Home Remodeling Design Dilemma

Need a software to design the floor plan.

I am planning to remodel my house, room addition, and new kitchen and bathrooms. I will have an addition of 800 sqft. I need recommendations on the floor planning software with professional consultation services about room space efficiency, functional usage of space, lighting effect, size of rooms, doors, and windows that flow naturally.

HB pencil and paper. Software does not design houses, it is only a tool.

An architect with the skill to use a basic pencil and paper, or more complicated tool That's the best way. Your job is then a wish list and a budget.

That does sound like a big list for an amateur...whether you use an app for floor plans or the pencil option it will mostly get you more ready to communicate with a pro...finding the contractor first can be a useful resource.... for who to hire for drawing the plans....at the best price....if the contractor knows they are getting the job they can help in the formulating stage as well...as an advisor...
