landscaping pool and coping - Should backyard match the front?

Renovating the backyard by redoing all hardscape. LA home was built in 1966 with traditional brick exterior and mid century modern interior. Should hardscape be concrete or tan marble pavers? Fear that stone pavers don't match the house exterior
. Contractors said since I am removing so much concrete (1700 sq ft) I should not replace with concrete but use opportunity to get benefit of pavers.
