Nice! I really like all the deep drawers. We are in the planning stages of remodeling our mid-1960's kitchen, and I want lots of drawers. Do you find there are many or any, inches lost with drawers vs open-up doors with slide-out trays? I suppose you can do a lot more 'stacking' of things in the deep drawers. P.S, Where did your refrigerator go?

@sarabeth2: Drawers are wonderful and give you just a bit more room, lots of stacking potential, and ease of use than cabinets with pull outs.

Thanks everyone! Yes I do walk in the house and say "I love my kitchen" and I can't beleive it is mine. Been in the house for 20 years and this was a major improvement. Here are some more pics

i have 3 drawers on the island and 2 sets of pullout shelves. They are on the side facing the fridge. Some of the deep drawers are too deep but I love the ones holding my pots and pans below the cooktop. Also I find less use of the upper cabinets because the third shelf is so high. But can use for less frequently used items.I am using some of the deep drawers as bread boxes and for my onions and potatoes. Less clutter on the countertop.

Quinnash, the wood floor is Max Windsor creme brûlée and my cabinets were custom made. I picked the simple shaker style and I believe the color name of the paint is china white.

Lovethissite, I am not sure of the dimensions but I remember the wall where the cooktop is measures 13 feet, so the length of the room is more than that. The island granite is 6 feet by 4 feet. The kitchen opens up into my family room seamlessly.

Hi Surthriver, thanks for the compliment. It is an LG fridge. The French door model it is counter depth and very roomy.
