All the major online shade stores offer cord loop rollers as the standard option with cordless typically being a more expensive upgrade. Blinds.com, SelectBlinds, Blinds Chalet etc.

Interestingly my wood weave shades from the Shade Store are paper based, not that I mind. They look great actually but for the price I assumed it was another type of wood. Here’s what I have in the kitchen. This is with a privacy liner sewn to the back which is optional but you can get the same material in almost any color in a roller with cord loop. I think the color on mine is called Toast.

Steve S, are you happy with your shades from the Shade Store? We are getting ready to order from them in a Natural (paper) like you have. Debating over the Top Down Bottom Up option - does it work smoothly?

I am happy with although I wouldn’t exactly say it works smoothly other than it works as it’s intended . Which is slightly awkward as the cords are in the back of the shade.

It’s a two handed operation one to gently lift the shade away from the window and while carefully pulling the cords. Careful because if you’re not looking you can pull against the material especially when pulling the shade up into the closed position damaging it.

That hasn’t happened but it’s a design where I can see if I have children or maybe other people using it a lot It’s bound to happen.

For just myself I’d buy it again but if I had children or other people (roommates etc) sharing the house I’m not so sure they would be as picky or careful as I am, in that case I would probably get something else.
