What to do with this apartment entry area

Hello! I’m considering hanging a nice large mirror or coat hooks with floating shelf (functional but kind of sounds boring) above the bench, OR maybe both: mirror above bench and coat hooks in the smaller area to the right. What would you decorate this area? Any suggestions outside what I’m thinking are welcome!
