I don't like the look of glass tile for the kitchen.

I think that hexagon is a pattern from nature and appeals beyond trend. Not sure what others will say but that is sort of the rule of thumb I use.

If you like Hexagon tile for the kitchen, do it. You could get a smaller scale 2 inch tile which would look great. Something like this perhaps.

I have a glass tile backsplash and love it - ultimately it’s what YOU like, it’s your house... too much pattern might clash w/ the real busy countertop...

Well, it is a little matchy but the kitchen tile is clearly a very different tile, in a different room.

There’s nothing wrong with a little design obsession. Lol Also, no one on the planet can tell you whether you’ll be “sick of it” in a few years so DO YOU.

Love my kitchen glass backsplash so I say go for it. Maybe a smaller tile than you are thinking for the backsplash. Hexagon shape or fish tail shape if you are hesitant about repeating the bath floor tile.

I think if anything it may be a bit busy with your counters and the lines in your cabinets. I think if you were sold on it, you wouldn't have posted as you seem to know what you are doing so I'd say keep looking and see if something else sings to you.

I happen to think too much of a good thing is too much. I like glass tile in kitchens and larger format ones are a bit more contemporary but just subway in the usuall size would be nice in gray with matching grout your counter is quite busy so keep it simple if you want longevity

If you decide on the smaller hexagon for the backsplash, I would match the color of the grout to the tile. A contrasting grout would look too busy with your countertop.

I LOVE a hex, but looking at the photo that kiffkat posted above, I think in this space it's too busy. You've got a lot of movement in your granite, and I think I'd keep it quiet with a subway with matching grout so the pattern does not compete with the stone counters.

I wouldn’t do the the hex in the kitchen. Feels too busy to me, in any size, next to the counters.
