My Lakeside Paisley Print

I purchased the plant from vendor last year. It was small but I planted in what I thought would be a good spot for it! The two pips came up nicely in spring, but soon the leaves we’re burning on one side. I had forgotten that my hydrangea tree would offer less shade this year. So I dug it out, put it in a clay pot an have been nursing it along all summer. It looks good now. Should I replant it now or end of summer?

One of my very favorite of the newer intros over the years. The sooner you get it into its permanent home the better. Now is the time it is growing roots and that is what will make for a fine plant to pop up next Spring.

debra..you did a great job nursing Lakeside Paisley Print to good health..what a pretty little hosta!..I think I'd plant it now..it feels good to finish a job on the never ending to do list..and there's still lots of time for it to settle in before it's cold again..

Plant it now. I bought a small one in a 4.5 inch pot 5 years ago and another that was 1 or 2 crowns. Now, the smaller one is larger than the other one. It's one of my favorites.

Agreed, but I have one I grow in a pot and one in the ground. It is a medium to slow, but steady grower.
