I don't know much about Cabico, but I'd avoid KraftMaid. Too many recent, negative reviews to be comfortable placing money there. Have you priced out IKEA? That's usually the best per-dollar value for someone on a slim budget.

Thanks. I am pricing out IKEA and semihandmade. And cliqstudios. I do like the help I get from the cabinet places so that is worth something to me since I am not handy.

What cabinets did you end up buying? any feedback would be helpful!

I ended up with inset matte painted Decora. I was able to make them look how I wanted them to. They were easy to work with. I hired someone to help me lay out the kitchen that was not from a kitchen store.
