Refacing is a good option when you have a kitchen layout that works for you. I recommend refacing with wood, not laminate which is not as durable. The wood can be custom painted or stained. Look for a company that specializes in refacing and get a few bids. Also, this is a good time to add helpful features like soft close hardware, deep pot drawers, pullout shelves, etc.
